David J Brady, CFP® has served in the financial services industry for the
past 35 years in Minden, Nevada. His practice is focused on wealth
management for high-net-worth individuals, nonprofit organizations,
and police associations throughout Northern Nevada and California.
Prior to becoming a Certified Financial Planner, Dave was a financial
investigator for the Nevada Gaming Control Board and served as a
police officer for the City of Redondo Beach, before moving to Nevada
in 1985.
Dave graduated from the University of Southern California with a
Master’s degree in Public Administration (1982) and a Bachelor of
Science degree in Public Affairs (1977). Subsequently, he obtained his
CFP® designation in 1988.
Dave is committed to public service, having served on the Douglas
County School Board for ten years and was appointed by Governor
Guinn to the Douglas County Commission, where he served for six
years. Additional public service has included serving as a Reserve
Deputy Sheriff for Douglas County, as well as on the Douglas County
Park and Recreation Commission.
Dave and his wife Mary have five children and six grandchildren. When
not in the office, Dave enjoys golfing, volunteer work, touring the
United States on motorcycle, ocean sailing and riding the mountains on
his bicycle.
